Palestine Resistance 2023

On October 7, 2023 at 6:30am, different Palestinian brigades in Gaza united and launched the military operation called “Al-Aqsa flood.”

The Al-Qibli Chapel, Part of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the Old City of Jerusalem. Considered to be the third holiest site in Islam after Al-Masjid al-Haram and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.

The united Palestinian freedom fighters brigades launched rockets and demolished the barbed border fence/wall around the Gaza Strip. They took control over both military bases and different settlements near the Gaza Strip that have been occupied over the past many years. Alternative media suggest that the resistance leaders are satisfied that their efforts to launch a surprise attack against Israel were successful.

Palestinians who primarily live under an apartheid system and are confined to the occupied territory of the Gaza Strip have been appealing for the restoration of basic human rights for more than 50 years. In a most recent plea four days before the attack, Jordan’s Foreign Ministry sent an official letter of protest to the Israeli Embassy in Amman, condemning recent Israeli violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

Palestinian supporters claim that “The goal of this military operation is freedom for our people and liberation for its Holy religious sites.”

The Palestinians are not fighting for demands, yet they are fighting for their rights to be rid of the occupation and have the dignity of their Holy sites preserved.

This personal sentiment of a Palestine-American aligns with Left parties CPI(M) and CPI  who urge the United Nations and international community to ensure the immediate cessation of conflict and implement the two-nation solution with East Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital.

According to one American citizen with family ties in Palestine, “We hold Israel, alone, responsible for the escalation due to its ongoing violations and repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa mosque, especially in the last couple of days.”

I agree with the previous comments. This war needs to end and SOON! Innocent people are being caught in the crossfire for absolutely NO REASON!

This war is a result in build up and tensions that have been growing for years. Something needs to be figured out there are to many lives being lost as a result !

The war needs to end. It is getting older, not too far from a century and innocent people will be caught up and killed because of it. No land or mosque or anything temporal is worth fighting over when there are lives in danger. To be caught unaware must be the most dangerous plight. I hope that the Palestenians and the Israelites find peace yesterday. This is most important.
