Please join me in congratulating my brilliant students and members of UVI Association of Black Journalists (UVIABJ) who were recently awarded a $1,000 grant from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ)! Great job!
These conditions are unbelievable. According to the chart, the humidity level even in the mornings are extremely hot and that would make one miserable. Without a doubt, it would be impossible for students to think and learn freely, as conditions as these will determine a low outcome on an exam. Additionally, this affects faculty as well. How can anyone teach or function in their administrative capacity with humidity levels this high. I only imagine how physical education teachers and coaches feel constantly, and I extend halos to them for that kind of work having labored for many years.
I hope that the necessary protests were on high demand and concluded to be successful. The Department of Education should be monitored with supervision because the conditions on school campus should be top shelf first and foremost. Nonetheless, education is priority and if campus conditions are unfit, then so are those in authority.
